Urbana are instructed to take forward a previously refused scheme within Sheffield City Centre which comprises the demolition of existing buildings and erection of a Grade A office block with retail and leisure uses within Sheffield City Centre Conservation Area. Urbana will be submitting an application which comprises alterations to the scheme, including the removal of a storey, whilst robustly demonstrating that the development is positive for the city and that it carries with it the narrative of both the impetus of redevelopment that the Heart of the City scheme has successfully achieved as well as the requirement for Grade A Net Zero Carbon office space in order to attract and retain key business in the city.
