Negotiating closely with the Council from an early stage to navigate the Watford Local Plan, we were able to bring one of the tallest buildings in Watford forward with residential and Grade A office space, balancing the social and economic needs of the town centre to overcome a presumption against residential development in this location at the time. The scheme acts to dramatically improve the beauty and safety of an important pedestrian access point to Watford Junction railway station, better knitting together the urban grain in this location.
