Charles is a Director in the Sheffield Urbana Office and has been with the business since graduating from the University of Sheffield in 2014.

Charles is an experienced leader of the business and has worked with a huge range of clients and partners to deliver planning permissions for thousands of dwellings on numerous major and strategic development projects across the country.

​

He is also a Director of the Sheffield Property Association, the voice of and advocate for the private sector property and development industry in Sheffield. He has written in publications such as Business Insider and the Yorkshire Post on planning, housing and growth.

Beyond improving the built environment, Charles is particularly passionate about technological progress and economic growth and how planning and development expertise can support the drive towards a better future.

Outside of work Charles enjoys football, reading, bouldering, skiing, DIY, and gaming of all kinds. He also follows Blackburn Rovers Football Club, but doesn’t necessarily enjoy it.​​​
