Christian Cardiss, Senior Urbanist
Christian is a Senior Urbanist with Urbana in Sheffield, he works closely and collaboratively with clients and consultant teams to deliver high-quality places that add social, economic and environmental value for the long-term.
Christian's Story
In 2025, Christian moved up to Sheffield to join Urbana after more than 4 years working in Norwich where he was responsible for coordinating and leading on a broad scope of projects across Norfolk and Essex.
A Chartered Member of the RTPI, Christian has a long-standing, positive reputation for maintaining strong client relationships, taking a proactive, detail-oriented approach to every stage of all projects.
Christian has a passion for high quality place making, advising clients and consultant teams on planning strategies, guiding clients through feasibility studies, working diligently to deliver positive, sustainable and accessible places that continue to add value to long after the planning process has passed.
Taking experience of being a planning advisor to the owners of estates and assets, Christian successfully works collaboratively with clients to diversify their land and property portfolio. Much of Christian’s current interests sit within city and town centre regeneration projects, including residential, student and mixed-use applications.
Beyond the office, Christian has a keen interest for the outdoors, spending time bird watching, hiking and camping. Alongside the outdoors, Christian enjoys running and watching football, and can often be found enjoying time in a local brewery or tap room with friends, playing a range of different boardgames and tabletop games.
